Samsung's newest Z Fold 8 Ultra finally makes the foldable crease almost unnoticeable, thanks to its new Flex Titanium display tech. With a practically invisible seam and improved specs, it mimics last year's Fold7 but with better battery life and camera updates.
The phone now offers 45W wired charging and a 5,000mAh battery, both matching the S26 Ultra. While the cameras haven't seen as significant an upgrade, they can still record dual 8K video in horizontal and vertical formats. New features like 'Now Nudge' proactive notifications and optimized Gemini tasks make for smoother multitasking on larger screens.
However, the price tag of $2,099.99 could be a barrier for many, making it merely another luxury gadget rather than mass market innovation. Yet, as technology advances, perhaps one day we'll all have foldable phones that cost less than a new car.
