Marvel Unveils Ghost Rider and New Panther

Ryan Gosling joins MCU, while a younger Black Panther takes center stage.

Much to the delight of comic book fans everywhere, Marvel Studios has announced some major casting choices for its upcoming projects. Ryan Gosling will take on the role of Ghost Rider in an untitled standalone film set for release sometime in 2028, directed by Shawn Levy (Deadpool and Wolverine).


Adding a new layer to the Black Panther saga, Marvel Studios also revealed that David Jonsson will play T’Challa’s son and become the next Black Panther. The third installment of the Black Panther franchise is set for release on December 15th, 2028.


In other MCU news, a new trailer was shown for Avengers: Doomsday and Ryan Reynolds made an appearance to inquire about his potential involvement. While he may not get a part in this particular film, there remains hope for future projects.


Hayley Atwell also confirmed her return as Peggy Carter, adding depth to the already rich cast of characters.
