With its 4K HDMI dock and SD card readers, this compact device can double as a second monitor and storage solution. The magnets make attaching it to your iPhone or Pixel a breeze, but the low power draw model can struggle under heavy load.
The Ultra model requires at least 1.5W of USB-C bus power for its features, which means you might need an external power source for full functionality. Sharge’s tweaks and firmware updates are ongoing to address these issues, but it shows promise as a versatile EDC gadget.
While the new design addresses previous flaws like noise and fan heat, the trade-off is that you can’t simply swap out your SSD without tools. Still, this is a significant step forward for Sharge in providing a practical and integrated solution for tech enthusiasts.
