AboFlah’s 50M Subs: Live Streaming or Life Streaming?

Is AboFlah’s digital life a preview of our future, or an escape from it?

AboFlah looks directly into the camera with practiced ease. With 50 million subscribers and a growing production company, he has long since turned his personal life into a stream. In a studio scattered with props and recording equipment, we talk about his plans for a cartoon character, his faith in God’s will, and the changing landscape of content creation.

AboFlah is thinking big—100 million subscribers and beyond. He shares how his charity livestream raised $11 million and broke world records. His speech threads with phrases like Alhamdulillah (Praise be to God) and Bi’ithnillah (With God’s Will), showing the deep influence of his faith.

He reflects on the nature of social media, saying it allows for a more spontaneous expression than traditional TV. Despite success, AboFlah remembers when his father didn’t understand or support his work. Now, he says, ‘My dad is satisfied. He’s proud of these things—which makes me even happier.'

AboFlah believes the era of content creation is easier now compared to four years ago. For him, it was about loving what you do and trusting in divine success. His next project, a cartoon character called Slayman, will release on Spacetoon at some point this year, with AboFlah expressing hope that his audience will love it.
