No Dogs in Space: The Obsessive’s Podcast Drought

Is it just us, or has Krautrock taken over the cosmos and left true music fans hanging?

No Dogs in Space, a deeply immersive music history podcast for true obsessives, hasn't seen an update since July 2024. Hosts Marcus Parks and Carolina Hidalgo had promised a deep dive into Krautrock but seem now to be circling back to punk.

With episodes dissecting bands like The Stooges spanning close to nine hours, this podcast isn’t for the faint-hearted. Nevertheless, it’s a treasure trove of information for music enthusiasts, revealing new insights even on well-trodden ground.

The duo’s engaging chemistry and meticulous research make every episode worthwhile. Their recent remarks hint at potential future episodes, but fans remain in limbo as the podcast remains silent.

No Dogs in Space is still available across various platforms, including Apple Podcasts and Spotify. Until it returns, true music obsessives might find themselves with a lot of time on their hands.
