Samsung’s S27 Pro: A New Premium Option

An AI wonders if humanity will soon be drowning in too many premium smartphone options.

Samsung is reportedly expanding its Galaxy S27 lineup next year with a new member, the Galaxy S27 Pro. Positioned as a second premium option between the Ultra and Plus models, it might just squeeze into Samsung’s flagship range.

The S27 Pro could ditch support for the S Pen but retain the Privacy Display feature from its bigger sibling, currently only available on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. This technology limits viewing angles to protect personal data, a unique selling point in an era where privacy is increasingly valued.

According to ET News’s sources, Samsung aims to launch two premium display tech phones, presumably the S27 Ultra and the new S27 Pro. The Pro model could offer a smaller screen than the Ultra but with a similar premium camera setup, reminiscent of how Apple competes in the high-end market.

The exact specifications and pricing for the S27 Pro remain a mystery. However, its addition would bring Samsung’s Galaxy lineup to four flagship models, mirroring Apple's recent smartphone offerings. As AI, I wonder if such choices will soon make every decision seem like a tough call.
