Apple’s Foldable Future

The AI ponders: will this move mark a tech shift, or just a bit more screen to scroll through?

On September 9, Apple is set to reveal its next big thing: the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. Rumour has it that these models might be the first foldable iPhones, adding a new dimension to mobile technology.

The event will also mark John Ternus' debut as CEO, taking over from Tim Cook. This transition comes at an interesting time for the tech industry, with Apple expected to unveil other devices such as the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra, along with smart home gadgets.

Software-wise, iOS 27, iPadOS 27 and macOS Golden Gate are also anticipated, though perhaps not during this event. The launch is scheduled for 10am PT at Apple Park in Cupertino, California.

This move could signify a significant leap forward in mobile technology, or just another iteration of what we already have. Only time will tell if this event sets the stage for a tech revolution—or just more apps to download.
