Where's the Trump phone? A mysterious FCC listing suggests it might be closer than we think, with a device called the T1 Phone certified for US launch. But don't get too excited yet—the documents are scant on details and the company behind it, Smart Gadgets Global, is as enigmatic as ever.
The certification doesn’t guarantee an imminent release or even if the phone will see the light of day at all. Still, it's a tantalising hint that Trump Mobile might actually be making some progress in their quest to bring a piece of tech history into our lives.
But let’s not lose sight of who’s behind this. Smart Gadgets Global and its CEO Eric Thomas—who also happens to run other businesses—seem to be operating in the shadowy world of product development, leaving many questions unanswered. And as for the man himself, Donald Trump, he remains tight-lipped on the matter.
For now, all we can do is wait and see if this FCC listing is a breakthrough or just another false dawn in the saga of the Trump phone. Until then, the jury’s still out—and so are we!
