Lovable’s Vibe Coding App Hits Mobile

AI apps on the go? The future of coding is here, or at least in your pocket.

Apple's recent crackdown on vibe-coding apps hasn't halted Lovable's latest launch. Their no-code AI app builder is now available as a mobile app for iOS and Android, allowing users to code on the go via voice or text prompts.

This new app allows you to capture your ideas anywhere, with the option to switch between phone and computer projects seamlessly. You'll also receive notifications when your build is ready for review – perfect if you're juggling multiple projects in different locations.

The arrival of Lovable’s mobile app comes shortly after Apple outlined restrictions on vibe-coding tools like Replit and Vibecode, blocking updates to prevent security risks to end users. Apple’s App Review team can now only vet the app during the approval process, ensuring it adheres to their guidelines.

To comply with these rules, Lovable's new app emphasizes creating 'working websites or web apps,' rather than running generated code inside the host app as before. This move towards a more transparent and secure coding experience is a step forward in the tech world, even if it means saying goodbye to some of the magic of instant coding.
